Ministry Highlights

Transition to Community provides orientation classes for sentenced individuals incarcerated at Lancaster County Prison. The purpose of the class is to inform those attending of the reentry services available to them upon their release.

A Needs Assessment Survey is completed by the inmate during the orientation class which helps TTC to better understand the needs of the individual.

TTC collaborates with the Lancaster County prison treatment staff as well as a growing network of professional and community based support service providers to deliver a holistic continuum of services.

The TTC Reporting Center, located at 39 West Vine Street in Lancaster, has trained staff that provide case management services and counsel to those being released from state and county institutions. The goal will be to connect those returning to the Lancaster area with the people, places and resources that will enable them to make a successful reentry.

"Transition To Community is encouraging me while at the same time holding me accountable."
